Vespa T5 (VNX5T) 1985 - 1992
Piaggio produced the T5 as a sport version for the P range following on from its predecessors, the GS and SS. Although the main frame was simply a P range frame with a section welded on the back and floor mats instead of runners, thats were the similarities ended. The 5 transfer port engine was completely new, following the engine casing layout of the P range it had a new cylinder, crankshaft, flywheel and redesigned driveshaft layout that later became standard fitment on all P range. The redesigned headset had a square headlight and rev counter. A small windscreen was fitted to the headset and spoiler to the bottom of the frame, a redesigned horn cover and a one piece cut down front mudguard finished the look.
